"Nonpublic personal information" is nonpublic information about you that we obtain in connection with providing an insurance product or service to you. We only collect nonpublic personal information from individuals proposed for coverage.


What Information We Disclose

We do sometimes, as permitted under law, disclose nonpublic information about you to "nonaffiliated third parties" (i.e., third parties that are not members of our corporate family) in order to better serve you. For example we may disclose nonpublic personal information about you to such third parties to assist us in servicing your policy with us; to government entities in response to subpoenas; to consumer reporting agencies, mortgages, loss payees, glass companies and entities that perform marketing services on our behalf. We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about you to any other third parties, except as permitted by law.


If you become an inactive customer, we will continue to adhere to the privacy policies described in this notice.

We also take steps to safeguard customer information. We restrict access to your personal and policy information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you.
